OUR FIELD

WELCOME TO MARKS FIELD

In 2004 the Club acquired and established a new flying field (see map and directions to field below) and many dedicated members have spent the last three years working to get the field in top notch shape. Currently the field is undergoing the addition of a second runway. The field contains 12 acres and has power, water, and a shed for us to use.

MARKS flying field is located approximately five miles Southeast of Fruitland, MD on route 513 which, is St. Lukes Road. The address is 1918 St. Lukes Road.

DIRECTIONS TO MARKS FIELD

The simplest to follow route to our field coming from the East or West of Salisbury is as follows:

	Take Route 50 bypass South (toward Norfolk)
	Continue South on bypass to the second exit- Route 513 which is St. Lukes Rd.
	Go to the stop sign at the end of the exit and then turn left onto St. Lukes Rd.
	Proceed on St. Lukes Rd. 4.9 miles. Look for the MARKS field sign on right.
	Turn right on the first dirt road 18 yards after the sign and drive back to the field.

The shortest route to our field from Ocean City, Ocean pines, and Berlin is as follows:

Take Route 50 West to stoplight at Wor-Wic community College (18 miles from Berlin).

Turn left at Walston Switch Rd. and continue across the stoplight at Route 350 (1.6 miles) until it ends at Airport Rd. (another .9 miles)

Turn left at Airport Rd. and continue till it ends at Snow Hill Rd. (2.7 miles)

Turn left on Snow Hill Rd. and go 3.8 miles to St. Lukes Rd. on the right.

Turn right on St. Lukes Rd. and go 1.5 miles to the MARKS Field sign.

Turn left just before the field sign (second driveway) and go back to the field.
